Introduction
Crops are genetically and physiologically designed to feed from roots. Soil is the major and at most times the only source for crop nutrition.
Application of customized fertilizer produces significantly highest grain yield (6350 kg/ha), which was 20.3% increase over the control (University recommendation). Higher number of productive tiller /hill and more number of grains per panicle was also recorded due to Intensiv application.

Application of customized fertilizer increased the grain yield of maize by 26.3% over control. Study also showed that highest K and Zn uptake by maize grain in customized fertilizer applied field.
